Registered Charity #1486 · Barbados

Empowering men and boys through support, education, and advocacy.

M.E.N.S creates trusted safe spaces for men and boys to emotionally offload, access guidance, and build healthier lives, families, and communities.

Who We Are

M.E.N.S (Men Empowerment Network Support) is a registered charity in Barbados representing more than 250 men committed to addressing issues affecting men and boys while driving empowerment across communities.

We create essential safe spaces for men and boys to emotionally “offload” and confront the social, psychological, and emotional issues that affect their well-being. Our work is grounded in research and built to respond to an evolving psychosocial landscape.

We empower men at the individual, group, and policy levels through practical programmes, mentorship, psychosocial support, and community engagement.

M.E.N.S in Action

School outreach sessions with boys across Barbados

Schools Outreach & Adolescent Support

Schools across Barbados have called for stronger intervention and mentorship for boys. M.E.N.S responds by entering schools and creating spaces where boys can receive male guidance, support, and constructive engagement.

Our outreach responds directly to issues such as deviance, anxiety, violence, emotional suppression, and the need for healthy role models.

What Guides Our Work

Safe Spaces

We make room for honest conversation, emotional release, and respectful listening.

Brotherhood

We believe men grow stronger when they are connected, accountable, and supported by community.

Relevance

Our programmes are informed by research and shaped around the realities men and boys face today.

Transformation

We invest in long-term emotional, social, and personal development that strengthens families and communities.
